When You Stop Hiding the Right People Find You
Hey friend!
Can I be honest with you about something?
For a long time, I thought I had to be a certain version of myself to be taken seriously.
Professional.
Polished.
Put together.
And I realized that version of me was also really lonely.
Because when I am authentic, I am not really polished and put together.
I am looking for what’s in the hearts around me, not for the designer labels.
(Although those are nice, too.)
The point is…
When you hide the real you, you attract people who love the version you’re performing to be.
And then you have to keep performing.
Forever.
Just to keep them around.
And that’s exhausting.
But when you show up real?
The right people recognize you.
The real you.
And those relationships?
They’re the ones that last.
The ones that carry you.
We connect through truth.
We perform through image.
So, if you wonder why some of your relationships feel surface-level, it might be worth asking what version of yourself you’ve been showing them.
The real you is the magnetic one.
The one worth finding.
And that’s the whole point…
Being real.
Enjoy the journey!
