Sometimes we are tempted to hang on to those things that are really special. We might not be as likely to share something that is extra good, especially if we fear running out of it. Have you ever seen children with their favorite candy? They aren’t really excited about giving it away, and oftentimes we act the same. Fear of losing what we treasure can make us stingy.

What if what you bring to the table doesn’t run out. You are like Niagara Falls. It keeps spilling and spilling and spilling over…and it has for literally centuries. It’s amazing! And so are you.

Like the ancient verse says, “ You reap what you sow.” Sow your time. Sow your resources. You will reap even more, not grow poor. So don’t hoard your drink. Don’t hang on to what’s in you. Empty your glass. Pour it on others who need it. Then look again, and see that it is miraculously filled to brimming over again. You were made to spill out.
